Elizabeth’s Elders

About Elizabeth’s Elders

This compilation of research was done as a gift for my son, my family, my husband's family, our ancestors and our future generations. One day, my grandmother showed me a photo of her grandmother, Miss Molly; I was fascinated.  My grandmother later asked me to look up some of our family members here in the South to help her with her genealogy research.  It has been a great deal of fun to do this for her and to share this information with the rest of our families!

My thanks to all the dedicated family historians and authors whose contributions are cited herein. None of us could have accomplished alone what we have accomplished together.

The Rootsweb WorldConnect Project site has my database (seu92) on file.  There, you may view pedigree trees, descendancy charts, ahnentafel, or download the gedcom file.

My cousin, Donald Lawrence, has contributed a great deal to these pages. He is researching the Lawrence, Blankenship, Wilson and Reed families. To contact Don, please send email to: ddlawrence1@juno.com

Another cousin of mine, Ronnie Moore, has also contributed research and personal papers to this site and deserves our thanks.

Sloan Spence Mason has published a wonderful web site containing information on the Rochelle family, among with other lines she’s researching.

Another great web site containing information on the Rochelle family has been published by the “Mad Genealogist” Doris Ross Johnston.

For information on the Standifer family, see Carol Yarborough’s fabulous website.

Robert E. Canup is a dedicated researcher of the Canup family. If you are researching this family, I highly suggest you contact Bob as he has published many genealogies on the various Canup lines. I haven’t spoken to him in years, but the last email address I have for him is: bobcan@mindspring.com

I also want to thank the Caswell County NC researchers who’ve been a source of help and inspiration to me.  Some of our family members were close almost two hundred years ago, yet after all these years, these researchers are still willing to lend a hand to their “neighbor.”

I've enjoyed corresponding with all the distant cousins I've met in preparing this web site!  Should anyone want to share family history, stories, photos, or corrections, please send them to me at the email address below.

Thanks for stopping by!
